Cold water swimming is all about the experience, the joy of being in the great outdoors and sharing the adventure with others. (oh and the cake and tea afterwards). At this time of year it is less about swimming distance. We will judge how long we spend in the water on how we are feeling, responding to the water. At this time of year, it is likely to be measured in minutes.
The aim is this session is to give you confidence and the skills needed to swim in cold water. We will talk about the potential risks of open water, how to judge conditions, how to get in safely, signs of cold to look out for and plenty of top tips to make swimming wild a whole lot of fun.
These sessions are a mix of swimming and theory.
